* Do you think you're having a good season?

I think Newcastle are having an on off season and despite recent results are doing well in the league. I think we have been very unlucky with injuries this season and without many of them we could be doing much better.

* Who do you think is your best player(s) ?

As many people have said Kerion Dyer has been fantastic this season and has probably been one of our better players. With so many players out, we have needed someone to get a hold of the game and do something special and that has been him. However Gary Speed has shown many of his critics this season that he really is a quality player. He has shown that he can help out in defence as well as help the youngsters and is never short of a goal or two. He for me has been our player of the season.

* Your worst player(s) ?

Like many other fans I have been disapointed in Marcelino's faith of this club and his inability to get on with a game with slight injuries. He somehow managed to miss 2-3 months of the season with a strained finger and then asked for a transfer.

*Your players to watch (youngsters or underrated players) ?

On the field on Saturday the players to watch will be Solano and Shola Ameobi. Solano - despite being linked with many other clubs all over the world has never once asked to leave and has said he loves the club and wants to stay way past his contract - has shown this season that when he has a great player next to him he will play some of the best football in the world and with Dyer he has the partner. His crosses have been the lifeline for many a hard game and he can also pop up with a great goal of his own.

Shola is still young but despite his age has no problems taking on the best of defenders. His finishing and control may need alot of work but his sight on the pitch is fantastic and he has performed some great link up play on recent games.

*Your preferred formation for Saturday's game?

I would like to see Newcastle go back to 4-4-2 against Leeds instead of the 3-5-2 we used against Villa. I hope he sticks with players who have a never stay die attitude and he goes for:

Harper Griffin Hughes Goma Quinn Acuna Bassedas Solano Gallacher Lua Lua Ameobi

*Your best chant ?

Shall we sing a song for you : Because with the Newcastle away fans outsinging the home fans as we always do this is a song we are getting used to :)

*Where do you think Newcastle will finish in the Premiership this season ?

I think with current performances and the teams above and below us I think we will finish either 6th or 7th hopefully 6th to gurantee us a European spot.

*Prediction for Saturday and City scorers (if applicable)?

1-1 : I feel that if we defend as we did against Man U and Leeds in our last game against you, we should not concede more than one goal but I don't think we are strong enough to win the game. I think Shola may get his second of the season or if Solano is back on top form and fit one of those two may score.

MATCH REPORT

Leeds United 1-3 Newcastle United

This is only a small report cos its all been said before...

They say you cant make a silk purse out of a pig's ear. Is the converse true ?

Pig's Ears 1 Newcastle United 3

The only consolation is that of all the home defeats this season this was our best performance. Also its worth noting that Lady Luck and the ref wore big Geordie grins at the end. Good sides however don't concede 3 goals at home against mid-table sides with half a team injured/suspended.

Too many of our players are so horribly out of touch that it is time to rotate a few players. I'm not the manager so whatever I write here is meaningless... Librarian, Matteons, coat hangers, Mills, wool, spangles.

I want to cry but I'm too numb. Pass me the gun mother, pass me the gun.

Scores

Robinson 5 - Must have been pretty bored but still had to pick the ball out his net 3 times

Mills 1 - words fail me. I'm sorry Gary Kelly, I admit I was wrong.

Matteo 2 - Not a good advert for taking heroin 5 mins before a game.

Radebe 4 - Ran ragged by a makeshift attack

Woody 6 - Not guilty.

Bowyer 7 - Up for it and ran well with the ball - shame Mills offered no assistance in exploiting the large gap on the right.

Ollie 5 - Marked out of the game.

Bakke 3 - Looked like a little boy up against Speed, Lee et al.

Wilcox 2 - Not fit. Barton won't have an easier game all season.

Viduka 6.5 - His link up play with Keane was excellent. Looked more interested but last 20 mins seemed to fade.

Keane 8 - Nice touches, good awareness, scored at 2nd attempt. I can't believe he couldn't get a game at Inter.

Smith (for Wilcox) - Looked very lively for 10 mins.

Brian Kidd to help O'Leary ? - Please discuss
